About me

All about me: studying Cyber at Ort Darsky

Hi Everyone

Welcome to my blog! I'm Yegor, a 10th grader currently studying Cyber at Ort Darsky. I started this blog to follow my journey and reflect on what I'm learning

Why I chose Cyber?

I’ve always been curious about how technology works and have enjoyed problem-solving from a young age. I got my first real taste of programming when I completed a Python course, which sparked my interest and led me to work on many small Python projects. Later on, I also studied programming in middle school. When I came across the Cyber program, it felt like the perfect match. It combines everything I’m interested in—technology networks, infrastructure, digital systems, and real-world problem solving—while still keeping things exciting and challenging.

My Goals

Since I’m just starting out, my main goals right now are:

Learn the basics of cyber and understand the different areas it cover

Figure out what part of cyber I enjoy the most – whether it’s networking, data, hardware, coding or something else

Stay consistent with my learning and ask questions whenever I’m unsure to set myself up for future success, whether it’s a tech job, an apprenticeship or further studies

I will use this blog to track my progress, share what I’m learning and reflect on how things are going. If you’re curious about my journey, stick around and check my future posts. You can also share this blog with anyone interested in cyber!
